Job Description:

This is a CONTRACT and COMMISSION-BASED position. There is NO SELLING involved. Provides administrative support to Management on all personnel matters, assists with interviewing, job postings and Independent Contractor files. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Conducts new hire orientation for new Independent Contractors. Maintains Contractor documentation including W-9, contracts, payment preference, etc. Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork. Assists with processing of terminations. Assists with the preparation of the performance review forms. Assists Human Resources Manager with various projects. Assists with recruitment and interview process. Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by Director and Management. Upload documents into appropriate employee files. Assists or prepares correspondence. Prepares new employee files. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a COMMISSION-BASED position Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. Planning/organizing"the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. Quality control"the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. Adaptability"the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Dependability"the individual follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance. REQUIREMENTS Graduate level, Undergraduate Senior, or recent graduate with a degree in Human Resource Management or related field Able to devote 20 hours per week Proficient with the Internet and PCs Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel Strong problem solving skills Self-starter and self-motivated Demonstrated proficiencies with written and verbal communication skills This is a CONTRACT and COMMISSION-BASED position. There is NO SELLING involved.
