Job Description:

OverviewThe Human Resources Manager – Corporate Groups will provide all aspects of human resource generalist support to corporate groups' clients, including Marketing, Legal, Sustainability & Philanthropy, Human Resources and Executive Administration. This position leads the daily operation of Human Resource activities and works in partnership with Human Resource Specialists to ensure effective and efficient business relevant results. The manager will partner with clients in order to understand the business strategies and make recommendations and decisions. S/he will also develop and promote HR initiatives to further the strategic goals of the business. ResponsibilitiesThe HR Manager will manage implementation, administration and operation of functional Human Resources services. S/he will provide quality service and results as it pertains to HR core functional knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and training and development. Responsibilities will include:

  • Full life cycle recruitment for professional level roles at all levels
  • Developing talent pipeline through exploratory interviews, networking and actively seeking passive candidates through technology platforms
  • Managing vendor partner relationships with search firms to ensure strategic sourcing of top external talent
  • Ensuring HR alignment with business related initiatives
  • Serving as business partner and consultant to develop and deliver core HR service excellence
  • Utilizing functional expertise to ensure consistent and fair resolution of complex employee relations and benefits situations
  • Identifying themes and trends in HR/functional areas as evidenced by observations and conversations across corporate groupsS/he will also provide consultative services and develop strategic solutions. Responsibilities include:
    • Building partnerships with management and establishing a valuable consultative role within the organization
    • Providing effective coaching, counseling and progressive disciplinary strategies on all Employee Relations issues, up to and including terminations
    • Acting as a constant conduit for communication between regionalized HR partners in an effort to facilitate shared learning and alignment across regionalized and centralized corporate functions
    • Identifying training needs within client groupsThe HR Manager will also be responsible for HR and team leadership and well as fiscal management. The responsibilities in these areas include:
      • Working with the global HR organization, as well as larger Corporate Groups team, to align and ensure shared candidates, best practices and team development
      • Coaching, developing and mentoring indirect report
      • Providing quality coaching to improve the HR service, support and skill level of each member of the team, and setting goals and assessing development needs for each individual
      • Developing skills of indirect report through formal and informal training opportunities and stretch goals
      • Driving quality HR service and support at all levels
      • Overseeing departmental expenditures to ensure they are in line with fiscal requirements
      • Evaluating practices and identifying cost saving opportunities QualificationsRequired Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
        • BA/BS or relevant work experience
        • Minimum 8-10 years progressive HR experience
        • Strong leadership skills and experience managing differing groups of individuals.
        • Strong consultative, coaching, communication and influence skills
        • Demonstrated expertise in HR service delivery
        • Excellent influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, follow-up and creative solution generation skills.
        • Must be organized, detail oriented, demonstrated project management skills, able to work independently and handle multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.
        • General business acumen, demonstrated analytical and creative thinking ability
        • Strong computer skills with MS Office and HRIS
        • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Preferred Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
