About the Opportunity: We're looking for someone like you to join our Technology team. You'd beresponsible for building next generation software and architecting solutions to support new technical and business initiatives. Some days you will be a highly focused and productive individual contributor working on the most challenging and most critical projects in the company. Other days you will be a highly leveraged team lead responsible for delivering on big cross-functional technical initiatives. About Your Background: The technical bar for our organization is very high and we expect you to help raise it even higher. Some of the things we're looking for: ? Strong academic background in computer science OR extensive personal project portfolio ? Several years of professional software engineering experience at a top startup or technology company OR experience as a technical co- founder of your own startup ? Exceptionally deep knowledge of the Java language and supporting ecosystem of tools, libraries, and frameworks - be prepared to teach us something new! ? Professional or personal experience developing web services and web application in Java and working with relational databases ? Bonus: Experience in other programming languages (eg: Python, C#, Perl, Javascript) and/or familiarity with AWS - If you have experience in financial technology, that's cool but not strictly necessary.
