Job Description:
We are looking for a Python Data Engineer with about 2 years
experience to work at a Hedge Fund in NYC. What you will do:
Developer on trade processing application for Rates & Credit desks.
Building out new components and upgrading existing infrastructure
to improve efficiency of trading desks. --- Build front to back
applications for various use cases of analyzing instrument and
trade data that flows through our system (Pandas, NumPy, Linux).
--- Design and implement building out backend data pipeline feeds
for new web application component that showcased real time position
data and minimized discrepancies across P&L systems (Java, SQL,
Spring Boot, JDBC, JPA). --- Serve as point on production support
bimonthly. Use SQL and Unix shell for incident investigation,
diagnosis, and resolution. What you need: -----Degree from a
competitive school -----Professional python and Linux experience
-----Working with large financial data sets
