Job Description:

JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of an exciting Fintech start-up that is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in either New York or Miami.--
Responsibilities include:

  • You will join the team in charge of developing their stack to build services over REST API or gRPC.
  • Work closely with investment professionals to create and build modern solutions and analytics related to their investment platform.
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment with the freedom to try new things then quickly translating that to prototypes and production applications.--
    Position requirements:
    • 3+ years of experience within financial services, investments, or fintech companies.
    • Strong technical experience with JVM languages: Java, Kotlin, Scala.
    • Experience building fixed income models and analytics
    • Any experience with Python or Go is a plus.
