Overview

The Principal Auditor DWS Technology (PA DWS IT) is a Lead auditor / auditor responsible for conducting local and global IT audits of DWS. This includes in particular the assessment of existing risks, the evaluation of implemented controls, and the reporting on identified deficiencies. As the IT Subject Matter Expert, the PA DWS IT also participates in integrated audits, which are conducted together with Business audit team. In this position, you will report to the Principal Audit Manager DWS Technology.

  Your Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Conducts as lead auditor / auditor, the local and global IT audits, this includes writing the findings and drafting the audit report
  • Evaluation of processes, controls, and risks within DWS IT and support in the development of sustainable measures for risk remediation
  • Follow-up and evaluation of corrective actions taken to remediate previous audit findings
  • Ongoing enhancement of the understanding and the risk assessment for the DWS IT team as well as build-up of an understanding of the Business requirements towards IT
  • Continuous increasing know how in the areas of IT security, cloud management, IT controls, and risk analysis and evaluation
    
    Your Skills and Experience:
    
    • University degree in Computer Science / (Commercial) Information Technology or equivalent qualification. Previous relevant work experience in IT Audit or in the Information Technology area (common operating systems, databases, project life-cycle, software development, as well as cyber security topics), preferably in the financial industry
    • Demonstrable experience of auditing IT General Controls, risk based auditing, and a clear understanding of the relationship between IT risk and underlying business process risk
    • Understanding of Business products and processes, as well as knowledge of the regulatory environment in the financial sector
    • Confident appearance and strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate on all hierarchy levels
    • Self-driven, eager to learn, well organized team player with strong analytical skills, and willing to travel on an occasional basis. Professional / industry recognized certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM) are highly beneficial
