Job Description:
Job Description Objective Software developers at MIE are
responsible for handling support issues reported by our clients,
fixing identified issues, and report writing. Involvement in code
reviews as well as creating and maintaining automated testing. SD's
need to be good team players, willing to work on different projects
within the department. Being able to stay on top of assigned tasks
within our ticketing system is critical. Experience with Linux,
SQL, C code, Python, Javascript is ideal. Responsibilities may
include (in order of importance): Reasonable accommodations may be

essential functions. Code bug fixes as identified by leadership.
This could be C code, javascript, or SQL Report writing in SQL.
This could be improvements/changes to an existing report or
creating a new report based on client requests. Code reviews of
peer code changes. Also included in the weekly hotfix review of
changes to be pushed out. Creating and maintaining automated tests
for newly developed features and bug fixes. Management of tickets
assigned within the ticketing system. Willingness to learn and work
within all teams in the department Closely adhere to all MIE/EH
policies and procedures. Qualifications At least 1 year of college
or software development or support experience. Experience with
Linux command line (Fedora, RedHat, CentOS). Experience with C
code, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Experience with SQL writing.
Working knowledge of Google Suite. Active listening skills are a
must. Ability to function as part of a collaborative team
Self-directed individual who is highly motivated and able to
organize and manage their own work. Ability to pass Criminal
Background Checks Eligibility to work in the United States
Education/Certifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent
experience is required. Physical/Mental Essential Requirements:
Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting,
and carrying (up to thirty (30) pounds). Full range of body motion
including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Ability to
sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time. Ability
to focus on detail and accuracy of work product. Ability to work
flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Occasional high stress may be experienced. Performance measures for
this position will be based on the following criteria Quarterly
customer satisfaction survey results 360 review process completed
