Job DescriptionSenior Python Developer - NY100 percent remote optionMust be able to convert Needs to be more backend focused, Python, Athena Spark, CLickhouseThe Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for: Shaping the architecture and building out our suite of reporting and client facing products Continuously improving the process for which we build our products Making high impact decisions in technology that will help drive our company through the high growth stages Standardizing the way we operate and maintain our softwareQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent experience At least 3 - 5 years of experience working as a software engineer Experience with Python using aiohttp or other web frameworks Experience with any Python ORM, or otherwise programmatically interacting with databases Debugging-level or better experience in React or other UI frameworksDebugging-level or better experience in JavaScript, TypeScriptExperience in NodeJS and ExpressExperience in creating unit testsExperienced in operationalizing and maintaining softwareCan communicate and collaborate with product and other stakeholdersWill strive for producing quality software but also has a bias for actionIs pragmatic and prioritizes the product goals, team goals and organizational goalsIs an advocate for continuous learning and improvementKnowledge or experience of the TV or advertising industry is a strong plusRequired technology competencies include:Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, React, NodeJS/ExpressTools: Jenkins, GitInfrastructure: NodeJS, GulpDatabases: Mongo (or other NoSQL), MySQL (or other OLTP), Clickhouse/Redshift (or other OLAP), Athena, Spark
