Job Description:

Position: Mobile Android Developer
Location: Parsippany, NJ -Remote
Duration: Full-Time
Competency / MicroSkill Details 1. Minimum of 5 years total experience as an engineer doing development with Android App using Java.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Android App development using Kotlin - Android Studio.
3. Strong experience in Android design pattern like MVP, MVVM.
4. Strong experience in application design, design patterns and performance tuning.
5. Strong experience in using Google Jetpack libraries.
6. Strong/hands-on experience in creating proper RESTful services with JSON and consume in android application.
7. Strong Data Modeling and DB skills with experience of working on SQLite, Room databases.
8. Experience with Agile methodologies.
9. Must have experience with tools/frameworks for agile processes such as SVN, Github, JIRA, Jenkins and Maven.
10. Experience with some test driven development tools and techniques: Mockito, REST-assured, JMeter.
11. Self-starter, ability to read and develop from a specs
Must have skills 1. Ideal candidate has strong Mobile Android development background
2. Breadth and depth of skill to build scalable applications
3. Desire to learn new tools, frameworks, languages

o Share and communicate product requirements to stakeholders at all levels, in the appropriate level of detail
o Conduct or participate in review sessions on regular basis with the business

o Serve as Scrum Master in a Scrum team to mitigate impediments and act as a serving leader to the team.
o Participate in Daily Scrums with the team for progress update and clarify requirements.
o Provide technical solution to junior developers in the team
o Prepare documentation for PMO processes.
