Job Summary:

As an experienced IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including ensuring network security and reliability, providing technical support, and identifying and implementing new technologies to improve business operations. You will also work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop strategies to meet them.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure network security, data privacy, and reliability in a distributed team environment.
  • Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve business operations and efficiency.
  • Manage IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the industry. Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in IT or a related field.
    • Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, and software systems.
    • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience managing budgets and resources.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Primary tech stack includes, but is not limited to:

      • Salesforce
      • Zendesk
      • JIRA
      • Monday.com
      • Mosyle MDM
      • Apple hardware
      • Efficient in Meraki and Extreme network equipment Expected Compensation:
        • $90K-$100K annually
          This position is New York City based, and will be on campus 1-2 days per week as needed.
