Job Description:

Immediate need for an experienced Telecom Technology Design Engineer with proven experience designing and drawing AV and security systems. Knowledge of AV and security systems including flow diagrams, rack elevations, and logic diagrams.



Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Telecom technology engineer who will work on technology planning projects including Telecom, AV, and security systems
  
• Work with clients and team members preparing construction documentation for each project
  
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and evaluate bid responses for telecommunications and security trades
  
• Act as liaison between architects, clients, and project managers from multiple engineering trades to identify and implement cabling infrastructure for each project
  
• Verify proper installation during construction phase
  
  Job Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Minimum of three (3) years professional experience in designing AV and security systems
    
  • Knowledge of AV and security systems including to flow diagrams, rack elevations, and logic diagrams
    
  • Experience creating AV plans, schematics, and wiring diagrams
    
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure including cables, telecom room design, and pathways
    
  • Familiarity with AV, security, and BICI standards
    
  • Familiarity with CAD and BIM including AutoCAD and Revit
    
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    
  • Strong initiative!
    
  • Ability to multi-task
    
  • Excellent communication skills
    
    Education:
    
    Bachelors in Engineering related to telecom; Electrical, Electronics, IT, Communications, etc.
