Job Description:
The team is looking for an Application Software Engineers with
experience in design, development of enterprise systems and
handling high volumes of data. Technology toolkit involves RDBMS
tools (SQLServer), middleware services (Java/J2EE, Spring,
Kafka/JMS), Workflow (jBPM), Document Management (Documentum), User
Interaction (Angular 10), Analytical and Reporting services
(Tableau/Microstrategy/Business Objects).Data Developer (Ideally
looking for a mix of Java & SQL Developer)This role will be
responsible for the design, development, and testing of the new
Regulatory Engagement platform (EREP). This position drives our
ability to meet regulatory requirements and optimize the technology
organization velocity capabilities. This resource will also support
the transition of Priority 1 embedded IT application to the
strategic platform.Responsibilities:- Participates in design,
development, unit testing and implementation of stories.- Works
with other developers, QA, UAT and business partners to understand
user stories, application defects, performance problems and data
anomalies.EREP ? Enterprise Regulatory Engagement Platform: Source
of record for any interactions with regulators. System houses
created requests, documents, and meetings with regulators.
Information is tracked, then regulators report back with their
findings meaning the bank would have to take actions which could be
changes in processes. Issues are logged in SHRP, requests w/
regulators are managed in EREP. Regulators include; FRB, OCC, CFPB,
FDIC. Agile team consisting of about 20 developers, 4 QAs and a
scrum master Requirement: Required Qualifications: 7+ years of
software engineering experience Desired Qualifications; An
industry-standard technology certification Strong verbal, written,
and interpersonal communication skillsTop Skills:- 5+ years of
application development and implementation experience- 5+ years of
Java experience- 3+ years of SpringBoot, SpringBatch &
Microservices experience,- 2+ years of SSIS and/or Java ETL
development experienceRequired:- 3+ years of SQL development- 2+
years of Database Modeling experience- 2+ years of experience with
MicroStrategy, Tableau, and/or Business Objects- 2+ years of
JPA/Hibernate experience- 2+ years of Source Code Repositories like
GIT- 2+ years with Gradle- 2+ years working with JUnit & Mockito-
2+ years working with and implementing Agile based deliveryNice to
Haves:- 3+ years of experience writing relational database queries
for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning-
2+ years of HTML, JS, CSS- 2+ years of Angular experience- 2+ years
working with IntelliJ- Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau
and/or Business Objects- SQL or Java Certifications- ETL, data
warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or
external cloud platforms- Excellent verbal, written, and
interpersonal communication skills- A BS/BA degree or higher in
science or technology- Good problem solving and technical
troubleshooting capabilities- Ability to work effectively in
virtual environment where key team members and partners are in
various time zones and locations- Strong analytical skills with
high attention to detail and accuracy- Advanced Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
