Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Lead, Full-Stack Developer in New York, NY , to utilize existing and emerging technology platforms to design, develop, and document technically detailed applications. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or a related IT occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Reviewing the configuration and security settings within financial system databases and applications using Oracle and PostgreSQL; Integrating core and advanced concepts in data analytics and reporting by utilizing Hadoop and Data Lake; Implementing functional features and technical improvements to meet performance requirements by applying knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) in Java and Spring; Building front-end components using Angular and Java Script, and running applications using Linux and Docker; Utilizing fully integrated development tools including Jira, Confluence, and Gitlab as continuous integration tools; Following test-driven development process using Agile and Scrum; and Managing and deploying applications following architectural guidance, high availability and fault tolerance monitoring tools including Splunk and App Dynamics.
