What does a successful Client Technical Support Consultant do at Fiserv?You will work in a dynamic, professional, client service-oriented environment with financial institution clients using Fiserv Credit Union Solution platforms throughout the US. You'll provide day-to-day support answering questions and addressing issues, working with both seasoned and new clients in a fast-paced environment through phone and email in areas such as ACH, Lending, ATM/debit card /credit card processing, General Ledger, Accounting, out of balance, reports, database set-up, client notifications and file transmissions.
What you will do:

  • 2nd tier support for clients and associates; escalation contact for internal associates and clients.
  • Answer incoming client inquiries - phone calls, cases, etc.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex functional technical and/or operational problems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for majority of products within a designated domain; identify and resolve all issues presented for all products in designated domain.
  • Provide 24x7 rotating "on call" support to customers and internal groups.
  • Resolve customer issues, utilizing methods such as configuration changes, data modifications, or customer guidance, or escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate resources and departments.
    What you will need to have:
    • Strong technical, banking or banking support, Credit Union experience -
    • Combination of education, military and relevant work experience.
    • Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8am - 8 pm EST, in office (not remote).
    • Experience communicating action plans, work performed, case details to customers by phone in a positive manner.
    • Experience with troubleshooting technical problems.
      What would be great to have:
      • Bachelor's degree
      • Previous experience in Financial Services institution
      • 3 years Technical skills, client relationship or banking experience
      • Background in a majority of these areas: Technical banking, Credit Union, card processing, merchant processing, check services, prepaid, alternative payments and technology.
      • Basic understanding of SQL (writing / reading basic scripts), Windows Servers
