Mainframe (Cobol) Developer - W2 Hiring Brooklyn, NY - Hybrid Schedule Contract to Hire Must Have: IBM-Z/OS, Mainframe, Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Write Stored Procedures from scratch, MQ messaging Nice to Have: Python or Java or AWS and financial background is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
• Mainframe software engineering concepts and 7 plus years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using COBOL, CICS, DB2, to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams
• Design, write, unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality. Pay Range: $60 - $65 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
