In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that empower our Commodities portfolio managers to trade effectively and efficiently. Specifically, you will:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to the needs of the Commodities business/group
• Lead the creation and deployment of trading systems and platforms that support commodities portfolio managers
• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to understand their trading requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions
• Integrate advanced data analytics and real-time market data into the trading process to optimize decision-making
• Ensure the technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable to support high-frequency trading activities
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the division remains at the forefront of innovation
• Build and lead a team of technology professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvementWhat's required
• Experience across Commodities asset classes with particular emphasis on power (US & EU) and natural gas
• Experience working with third party implementation vendors to set up the CTRM solutions (i.e. Endur OpenLink).
• Proven experience leading high-performing technology teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into actionable insights
