change. The Director of Digital Technology Services (DTS)
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Programs implements and manages
ERP systems and their integration with other platforms as part of
DTS at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). Provides leadership and
direction for program management, enterprise systems, and support
teams. Responsible for leading all aspects of program and systems
management, configuration, and support, including architecture,
integration across systems, resourcing, planning, and executing all
activities and for the quality of deliverables. Understands the
processes performed by the relevant functional business areas and
effectively leads discussions with the business to identify, plan,
and execute the delivery and support of technology solutions to
enable business processes. Position will be on-site in Edison, NJ.
Position requires experience with Workday implementation.
Responsibilities A day in the life of a Director Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) Programs at Hackensack Meridian Health
includes: • Manage the implementation of the ERP (tbd) Solution. •
Ensure all development teams are working together and communicating
effectively. Communicate with the teams to ensure they understand
what is required of them. • Coordinate with operational and
technical teams to gather, translate, and implement business
requirements while ensuring the ERP platform meets operations
needs. • Manage overall systems design, architecture, deployment,
support, and all life-cycle management activities, methodologies,
and processes. • Manage project activities and costs and interact
with project leads internally and externally to ensure adherence to
timelines and budgets. Ensure that a robust governance is defined
and followed. • Accountable to the project sponsor and the steering
committee as it relates to budgets, timelines, and progress. • Lead
application analysis assignments, including detailed project plans,
user interviews, definition of business requirements, research of
manual/automated applications, and recommendations for supported
functional business areas. • Partner with functional leaders to
ensure needs and priorities are well understood and aligned. •
Create and implement best practices for support and life-cycle
management, including but not limited to policies, processes, and
procedures. • Ensure teams have appropriate product and technical
specifications, direction, and tools to deliver solutions in line
with user expectations and establish realistic estimates for
timelines, ensuring projects remain on target to meet goals. •
Recruit qualified technical resources and ensure appropriate
training as needed. • Actively engage with technical architects to
ensure the system is designed to meet strategic architecture
requirements, provide functional flexibility, and support the
efficient growth of the business. • Provide regular updates on the
status of development activities, incidents, and other events that
impacted system performance and availability. • Participate in
discussions and decisions with the Steering Committee. • Help
manage the design, development, and implementation of the
post-go-live Sustainment team that will support the ongoing
management of the ERP solution post-go-live. • Other duties and/or
projects as assigned. • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies
and standards of behavior. Qualifications Education, Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities Required: • Bachelors degree in Computer
Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent four (4)
years of experience. • Minimum 7 years (which increases to 11 years
if no degree) of experience in an enterprise systems management
role, managing support and technical staff. • Minimum 7 years of
extensive ERP systems design, implementation, and management
experience. • Thorough understanding of the ERP functional and
technical landscapes, including the integration of Financials with
other areas of the enterprise. • Diverse enterprise systems
implementation and management background. • Demonstrated
understanding of ERP systems. • Excellent project/program
management experience. Emphasis on effective resource deployment
and management of multiple projects of diverse scope in a
cross-functional environment. • Strong business acumen in managing
project costs, developing business cases, and delivering
cost-effective solutions. • Ability to think strategically and
comfortable working in a matrixed environment. • Takes
responsibility and accountability with a strong attention to
detail, thorough and meticulous. • Ability to motivate teams to
produce quality solutions within defined timeframes and
simultaneously manage several projects. • Commit to listening to
understand others, act on ideas and suggestions, share relevant and
accurate information, and provide timely feedback. • Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas
clearly at all levels of the organization to achieve the required
results. • Ability to work under pressure within tight timeframes
and deadlines. • Projects enthusiasm, motivation, and a desire to
learn. • A problem-solver who can think laterally and logically. •
Ability to adapt quickly to organizational changes and with
applications and software. • Proficient computer skills that
include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: •
ERP experience in Financials and HR is highly preferred. If you
