Job Description:
Fidelity Investments, a leading global financial services firm

planning, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Trading Engineer.
This position is pivotal in optimizing our trading systems and
infrastructure to improve the execution of financial transactions
across various asset classes. By joining our IT & Data Management
team, you'll work at the intersection of finance and technology,
leveraging cutting-edge innovations to enhance our trading
platforms and contribute to our firm's market competitiveness.
Design, develop, and implement sophisticated trading systems and
algorithms. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate
trading solutions across various platforms. Analyze market data and
trading patterns to identify optimization opportunities. Ensure
compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain system
integrity. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and
ensure operational excellence. Stay abreast of the latest industry
trends and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Expertise in algorithmic trading and quantitative finance. Strong
programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, C++,
Java. Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
Proficient in data analysis and financial modeling. Excellent
problem-solving and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CFA or similar is
desirable but not required. Certification in Financial Markets or
Algorithmic Trading is a plus.
