Job Description:

• Vice President, Litigation Business Development UL Vice President, Litigation Business Development The Director/VP, Business Development is primarily responsible for successfully driving new client business. This critical role is the primary owner of some lead generation and qualification efforts (qualified leads are also generated by Marketing efforts and assigned), opportunity qualification, pipeline development and advancement, and ultimate sales conversion activities. Targets include a combination of targeted new logo sales both corporations and law firms, and strategic alliances formed with channel partners. This critical role will develop and execute a strategic business plan to meet or exceed established sales goals. Business Development personnel are responsible for meeting annual sales and activity quotas and are eligible to participate in the company's business development commission plan. Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage new business opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle in SalesForce. Maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted potential accounts in specific regions, industries or with other strategic attributes, to continually grow new business.
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with all kinds of client stakeholders, including inhouse attorneys/paralegals, outside counsel, other providers, executive and C-level decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with global marketing, sales enablement and products/pricing teams to train for, certify into (if applicable) prepare and deliver powerful, persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate the value of ULX services and solutions.
  • Evangelist for the ULX brand, representing the company at key conferences and professional events.--
  • Collaborate with shared service operations, client engagement and client success teams to ensure successful new client onboarding.

Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years work experience.
    • Passion for digital transformation, strong interest in technology and how it is impacting today's legal departments and organizations.

    • Success-oriented, self-motivated, resilient, resourceful operator.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and skilled at working effectively with matrixed, cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent collaboration skills to build relationships with delivery and client success teams, as well as with other companies, law firms and other third party stakeholders.
