Auto req ID: 253882BR Job Description The PepsiCo Law Department is seeking a skilled and talented Legal Assistant. The position is located in Purchase, New York and will support the PepsiCo Beverage North America alcohol distribution business unit. This role involves legal assistant and administrative support for regulatory, sales, operations/supply chain and marketing areas while also collaborating with other members of the Law Department and business. Accountabilities - list in priority order the main accountabilities/deliverables of the role, including key measures. Assist with regulatory and legal support of the alcohol distribution business in the PBNA Divisions, which includes knowledge of the federal and state alcohol distribution regulations, state trade practice rules and responsible marketing guidelines. Review of sales programs and promotions, including pricing and coupons Review of marketing programs and materials. Review of pricing programs and implementation of price postings where required. Assistance with tax records and reports Main interactions within & outside organization - Key job roles both internally and externally that the job-holder interacts with on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. What is the nature of the interaction? Continuous communication and interaction with the Alcohol Distribution lead attorney and other members of the law department in general. Maintain close communication with the Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Tax and other Cross-Functional colleagues. Interact with outside counsel on alcohol distribution issues. Qualifications/Requirements Requirements: 3+ years corporate legal assistant experience at consumer products company and/or law firm. Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts. Attention to detail. Ability to handle tight time deadlines, prioritize and work well under pressure. Strong ability to work with minimum supervision and closely with the business. Ability to communicate with business clients and other members of the law department. Strong writing skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superior organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.Preferred Requirements: B.A. degree preferred Paralegal certificate preferred Experience with supply chain contracts a plus. Knowledge of alcohol regulations preferred Knowledge of TTB and FDA labeling regulations a plus.
