Job Description:

As a Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs, will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Litigation, Business & Legal Affairs. -The Coordinator's responsibilities may include, but not limited to:What you'll do:

  • Support and assist team of lawyers responsible for all U.S. litigation, including but not limited to affirmative and defensive copyright infringement, pre-litigation negotiations and mediations, and copyright termination claims
  • Assist in drafting and proofreading correspondence and basic documents, including exhibits
  • Assist with basic online research related to claims
  • Review artist agreements in connection with copyright termination claims
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Coordinate meetings, including with business units and outside counsel, and manage lawyers' daily schedules
  • Organize and maintain filing and tracking systems and database for litigation-related matters, such as tolling and settlement agreements, and maintain records for copyright termination claims
  • Liaise with facilities, IS&T and purchasing departments for office needs
  • Arrange travel and process expense reports; provide phone coverage
  • Maintain attorneys' CLE compliance forms and process renewals - -Who you are:
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience or recent college graduate with demonstrated learning potential (i.e., strong academic performance, prior industry experience/interest)
  • Highly motivated and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in computer software applications (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate
  • Punctual, available to work overtime

  • The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $40k to $55k. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
