Business Description:
This role will work closely with the AML CCO and other members of
the AML team to support the maintenance and development of the
Global AML program.
Job Title: Legal and Compliance -AML, Analyst
Job Description:
Primary responsibility for the review of daily alerts for potential
money laundering, sanction, and suspicious activity including
conducting investigations and escalation to AML CCO.
Conduct bi- weekly FinCEN 314(a) screening and other regulatory
screenings specific to Cayman Islands and Singapore.
Responsible for conducting sanctions and adverse new screening for
prospective clients as well related parties (e.g., directors,
signatories and beneficial owners) using third party vendor tool
and public sources to identify adverse media, sanctions risk and/or
politically exposed persons (PEPs).
Review and document Customer Identification Requirements (CIP) for
new investors at time of on-boarding.
Assist in preparing monthly and annual metrics for new investors,
high risk investors and foreign PEPs.
Assist in scheduling and tracking of annual AML training.
Work on ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:
Undergraduate degree
General knowledge and experience in AML/KYC and adverse news
screening
Strong investigative/analytical skills, able to formulate and
clearly articulate a supportable rationale behind the decisioning
of "alerts" within cases
Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Excellent written and oral communication and research skills
Strong work ethic
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (pivot tables,
charts, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Expected annual base salary range:
$70,000 - $90,000 Actual base salary within that range will be
determined by several components including but not limited to the
individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted
salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation
process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms
of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the
advertised role.
