Job Description:

A legal services firm in New Jersey is currently seeking a new Paralegal to join their Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice division.

Responsibilities:

The Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice Paralegal will:

• Conduct legal research on various topics related to personal injury and medical malpractice cases
• Organize and manage case files, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and provide updates on the status of their cases
• Prepare exhibits and other materials for use in court
• Schedule depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
• Assist the Attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing witness and exhibit lists
• Attend trials and provide support to the attorneys during the trial process
• Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of related Legal experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Paralegal certification
  • NJS Litigation experience
  • Experience in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice
  • Computer savvy
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
