The Data & Analytics (D&A) practice is a high-performing team
that works across both corporate engagements and litigation matters
to deliver data-driven solutions to our clients. As experts in
analytics, data science and data management, D&A is involved in
engagements requiring advanced data analysis methodologies that
span the areas of corporate strategy, litigation, investigations,
disputes, compliance, regulatory support, financial crime, fraud,
analytics for performance improvement and application development.
The team employs a range of analytics tools and techniques as well
as expert data engineering capabilities to deliver solutions. The
D&A Software Solutions team is a specialized team that creates
scalable and feature-rich web applications using a modern toolkit.
Recent solutions have highly leveraged AWS, containerization,
Angular, React, NestJS, TypeScript, Python, Django and Laravel. You
will have a direct impact on helping drive innovation by promoting
and selecting technologies to meet ever changing client needs and
evolving industry trends. FTI Consulting is seeking a talented
software engineer to join a fast-paced, geographically distributed
team charged with architecting and developing bespoke, modern web
applications to solve complex challenges for our Fortune 500
clients. As a member of this close-knit team, you will be supported
by a passionate team of full-stack engineers, FTI subject matter
experts and the broader FTI firm spanning locations in all major
business centers around the globe. You can look forward to a

actively supports your career growth. - What You'll Do As a member
of our software development team, you'll develop in-depth knowledge
of your clients' objectives and challenges in order to design and
implement innovative strategies using software to assist them
through their current difficulties and prepare them for the future.

- Participate in the entire SDLC, from concept to completion.

- Design, develop and implement client-centric web applications
and software solutions. -
- Lead software projects and collaborate daily with fellow
software engineers, managers and stakeholders -
- Design new tools to improve processes. -
- Conduct peer code reviews, triage flaws and promote updates to
production -
- Attend and present on internal brown bag sessions and lunch &
learns -
- Play an active role in mentoring junior members of the team

- Act as an evangelist to promote best practice and share
knowledge both internally and externally - How You'll Grow - - This

infrastructure, microservices and more. What You Will Need To
Succeed Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or
equivalent experience -
- 2+ years' experience in web application development -
- Experience with a frontend framework like Angular, React or
equivalent -
- Experience with a backend framework like Django, Laravel,
NestJS or equivalent -
- Experience in automated testing - unit testing, integration
testing and/or E2E testing -
- Able to work collaboratively on a team as well as independently

- Able to adapt quickly and manage competing priorities -
- This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices -
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Agile principles and test-driven development
(TDD) -
- Expertise in RESTful API development and/or integration -
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases -
- Experience in Linux, Apache, Nginx, Kubernetes, SOA,
distributed systems -
- Knowledge of IAM principles, SAML, Single Sign-On,
authentication and authorization techniques -
- Flexibility to provide night and weekend coverage as necessary.
