• Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university; a post graduate law degree (e.g. LL.M.) would be preferred
• 10+ years' experience as an advisor in the field of law; In-house counsel experience in multinational companies required; Law firm training combined with the in-house experience and the experience crossed over several jurisdictions would be highly preferred.
• Expert in core company/commercial legal areas, e.g., Corporate and Commercial Law, Law of Obligations, Contracts Law, Labour and Social Security Law, Data Protection Law
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills required; including the ability to work effectively in multicultural environment.
• Proven ability of being proactive, flexible, pragmatic, self-motivated, excellent and intuitive communicator at all levels, providing constructive challenge at times, report on progress, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with communication and providing appropriate challenge at operational board level as contributor and strategic legal advisor.
• Conduct legal research, review/analyse documents and other information, as well as prepare and present work product and findings.
• Monitor and provide guidance on prospective regulations, legislation, and other legal developments relevant to our global sector;
• Advise senior management on best practices for legal strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong English and Turkish language skills required.
