Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage operations within our
state-of-the-art cold storage facility located in Allentown, PA.
This facility specializes in the storage and distribution of meat
products, requiring strict adherence to temperature control and
food safety standards. In this role, you will be responsible for
supervising a team of 5 to 10 warehouse associates, ensuring smooth
and efficient workflow across all operational areas. Key
responsibilities Include monitoring inventory accuracy, enforcing
compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols, and maintaining
product integrity throughout the handling and storage process.
Additionally, you will oversee the safe and effective operation of
industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other
material-handling machinery, while promoting a culture of safety
and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong
leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a
commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced,
temperature-controlled environment. Ensure that performance is
aligned with the strategic plans and able to translate into goals
that build into an effective and achievable operating plan. Conduct
inventory counts every four weeks and ensures accuracy. Ensure all
shipments comply with DOT regulations for weight limits. Maintain
freezer warehouse temperatures between -0°ree;F and
26°ree;F and dock area temperatures between 39°ree;F
and 40°ree;F. Perform regular safety and compliance checks
to meet SQF, DOT, and company standards. Verify customer orders for
accuracy and quality condition upon receipt. Confirm all required
documentation (SQF, DOT, and other compliance paperwork) is
completed correctly and on time. Provide training and mentorship to
warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and
safety. Monitor and enforce OSHA safety guidelines and company
policies. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and
accurate order fulfillment. Ability to multi-task and meet
challenging deadlines. Proficient written communication skills in
business correspondence and other required documents; presents
numerical data effectively. Take ownership and accountability for
mistakes, correct and learn from them and can progress forward. Use
time efficiently; adapts to changes in the work environment;
manages competing demands and changing approach or method to best
fit the situation. Strong computer skills, including proficiency
with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 programs. Demonstrates

Ensure proper and safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other
industrial equipment. Qualifications: High school diploma or
equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 years of
supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environment;
cold storage experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of food
safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and OSHA regulations. Strong
leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to
work in cold environments for extended periods. Forklift
certification or ability to obtain certification required.
Knowledge of DOT regulations for weight limits of shipments
warehouse management systems ERP system is a plus and Microsoft
Office Suite. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
and stand/walk for extended periods. Comfortable working in
temperatures ranging from 0°ree;F to 40°ree;F.
Industrial warehouses are within an active manufacturing facility.
Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Use of PPE
(hard hat, steel toe or composed shoes, gloves, safety glasses,
etc.) is required. Fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Other
Responsibilities: In addition to supervising daily operations, the
Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating inbound
and outbound shipments, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring
accurate documentation for all product movements. This role
includes conducting regular inspections of storage areas to
maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards,
scheduling preventive maintenance for equipment, and assisting in
implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce
waste. The supervisor will also play a key role in training and
developing team members, resolving operational issues promptly, and
collaborating with management to meet production and distribution
goals. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to
changing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
