Job Description Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Work
in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and heat Guide
inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate without damage or
injury Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and
cargo to and from the aircraft and airport Protect baggage and
other equipment from damage, loss, and weather conditions Drive and
operate heavy ground equipment, such as tugs, cargo carts, service
trucks, and belt loaders Assist with record-keeping and
documentation to ensure the correct routing of baggage Load and
unload baggage: Sort and stack baggage on specified carts,
conveyors, or screening machines Safely transport baggage on carts
in specified areas Qualifications: High school diploma or
equivalent Valid driver’s license Stable job history Physical
requirements: Physically able to perform frequent walking,
stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, and grasping
actions. May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends.
Repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more
