GXO Logistics, a leader in supply chain solutions, is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the high-quality service that GXO is known for. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, this position involves daily local routes that allow for a work-life balance whilst making pivotal contributions to our operations. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport products to customer locations on time. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes efficiently and adjust to traffic conditions as necessary. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies. Collect and verify delivery instructions, reporting any incidents or deviations. Manage documentation of freight conditions, working hours, vehicle service, and repair status. Ability to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Excellent time management to fulfill tight schedules. Proficient in using technology for navigation and logistics management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
