The Account Executive plays THE critical role in driving software sales and revenue for the company, driving client and partner perception, and setting an example for the entire company. It is paramount that the Account Executive Strives for Excellence and helps make Akkadian Labs the best in its field. The Account Executive is a critical direct sales position that is responsible for contacting potential new clients to promote Akkadian products, with a focus on bringing in new business. Using a consultative sales approach, the Senior Account Executive will identify and develop a good understanding of the client's business needs and deliver an initial value proposition of Akkadian products to generate interest. The Account Executive is responsible for managing the complete sales cycle from start to finish. If the thrill of closing a deal never gets old, and you are an Account Executive who is a seller at heart, has a history of attaining aggressive sales targets but have the hunger to continually develop your sales proficiency, and a history of exceeding expectations, we want to talk to you! This position is based in NYC, open to working remotely nationwide. Requirements: Responsibilities: * Lead the full sales-cycle, from initial interest to deal close and coordinate collaboration cross-functionally with Customer Success, Technical Solutions, etc. * Generate new business opportunities via outbound calls & emails, social media, & networking * Identify, reach, and communicate with C-suite decision makers * Customize sales proposals and solutions for prospects * Work closely with CSO to enhance sales processes * Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline * Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering * Provide product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers * Nurture and expand the company's relationship with business units, divisions and the overall enterprise * Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products * Drive growth through new logo acquisition, penetration of key verticals and expansion within existing customers. * Consult with prospects and existing customers regarding business objectives and requirements, frame the value of Akkadian offerings as a differentiated solution for those goals * Prioritize opportunities and manage a high volume of inbound and outbound email efficiently * 5-10 years B2B sales experience, with experience in Enterprise software solutions. * Understanding and proficiency in solution selling and/or consultative selling methods, including client-focused prospecting, call execution, and opportunity management. * Familiarity with Sandler sales process * Proficiency with CRM (i.e. Sugar or Salesforce) * Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with C-suite executives * Demonstrated experience managing sales pipeline and maintaining an accurate forecast. * Verifiable experience advancing and closing multiple deals. * Benefits: We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Paid Time Off, Personal Leave, Holidays, 401(k) plan with company match and work/life balance.
