THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION Account Executive -- Corsis is the data-powered technology advisory firm. We are trusted by the world's most sophisticated business leaders and investors who rely on Corsis to make thousands of confident technology investment and growth decisions each year. -- We are now experiencing sustained and rapid growth within our global Mergers and Acquisitions practice. This division supports private equity firms and their portfolio companies with technology due diligence, operational assessments, cybersecurity, and transaction readiness. In order to support our continued growth, Corsis is hiring an Account Executive. -- Role -- Reporting directly to the Corsis President, the Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth with existing clients including Private Equity investors and the C-suite of technology-enabled companies across multiple sectors. Managing complex ongoing relationships with the world's top technology investment firms, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth as part of an elite, high-impact and experienced sales team. This role can be based out of any major U.S. city, preferably technology hubs such as Boston, New York, and San Francisco. We offer highly competitive compensation and benefits packages. -- This role requires a technology solution sales background in the context of M&A transactions and post-close execution work. Working alongside technical subject matter experts, you will close repeat business with existing clients, as well as cross-selling and upselling our data-powered advisory offering. In addition, you will drive the adoption of new offers by private equity firms and their portfolio companies and create brand awareness by providing a presence at M&A industry networking events. -- Sales Responsibilities You will manage and close a sustained pipeline of qualified sales opportunities with existing private equity firms and their portfolio companies. -- You will drive opportunities to closing by collaborating with a team of executives, sales development representatives, technical subject matter experts, and service delivery managers. You will identify cross-selling opportunities to expand our support of M&A transactions and digital transformation initiatives within the portfolio companies. Account Management Responsibilities You will provide account ownership around sales opportunities, leading needs assessment calls and delivering capabilities presentations. You will effectively manage client relationships by overcoming sales objections, providing a point of escalation, and soliciting client satisfaction feedback. You will invest time in face-to-face meetings with key accounts on periodic roadshows. You will cultivate new contacts within existing accounts and identify sales opportunities using your networking and presentation skills. Marketing Responsibilities You will work with lead gen teams to research new prospects, new contacts, and map/segment the global private equity market. You will coordinate with lead generation staff to identify and qualify prospects by email, cold calling, client roadshows, and networking. -- You will contribute to the creation of targeted outbound programs to build brand awareness and introduce new offerings. You will attend M&A industry networking events and software industry conferences. Requirements Bachelor's degree. 5+ years' experience working in an Account Management or Business Development role with a proven track record of success with accounts directly generating > $1M annual revenue. 5+ years' experience selling M&A advisory or IT consulting services to C-level and board-level stakeholders. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player in coordinating and driving sales processes with multi-disciplinary technology experts. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Membership and participation in M&A and software industry associations. Ability to travel on short notice, 25% travel requirement. Proficiency as an end-user of Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM. Working knowledge of M&A industry research tools such as Pitchbook and Crunchbase.
