Vivvi is looking for passionate teachers to join the Tribeca campus to implement an inquiry-based curriculum, where children's ideas are valued and respected. In our brand new state-of-the-art classrooms, our educators collaborate to develop rich, thematic units that foster children's curiosity without losing sight of key individual and age-appropriate milestones.We are seeking innovative, team-oriented teachers who:* See themselves as learners and researchers alongside children* Are careful observers of children* Have the ability to create trusting relationships with children, families and other colleagues* Practice progressive educational philosophies* Have experience in an urban setting* Have strong oral and written communication skillsQualifications:Infant/Toddler Programs (6 weeks to 2 years old)* An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education* At least two years working with young children* CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtainPlease note that this is a part-time position.
