Duration: 6-month contract to start with (on W2 payroll)Location: Needs to be based in Los Angeles or New York CityNeeds to speak Italian/German/Russian/VietnameseAs the Content Strategist, you will be responsible for driving content strategy and production across various platforms for our Business.You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to own and support all things content-related for various projects. You will partner with local markets for insights to help drive localized content in regions around the world.This person will have a strong marketing foundation, copywriting skills, and experience developing localized content for different regions/languages. This person will know how to build strategies for different types of content, how to measure and validate content success, and how to create processes for feedback to optimize content and enhance its effectiveness.Job Responsibilities:* Own the content strategy end-to-end for local markets and manage the execution.* Plan and write various types of content to increase key metrics across various channels.* Test, edit, and improve the content by utilizing various forms of feedback channels.* Communicate and collaborate with local teams for feedback on content improvements.* Review and localize content from English to a local language, including article translations, various forms of media, and other content related to the product or platform.* Manage the multi-language workflow requests related to the local market.* Develop content guidelines and standards based on the local market and ensure consistency of tone/voice across all content.* Build relationships and work closely with cross-department teams, including product marketing managers, product managers, designers, engineering, marketing, and sales teams, to collaborate on developing content.Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.* 3+ years experience in content strategy role or similar* Native (speaking, reading, writing) in English AND at least 1 of the following languages: Italian, German, Russian, Vietnamese.* Strong copywriting and editing skills in both English and local languages.* Experience defining, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on content metrics that lead to improvement recommendations.* Experience implementing and/or using Content Management SystemsPreferred Qualifications:* A portfolio with writing samples.* Familiar with the advertising industry and experience running ads on various platforms* Previous experience at an internet/tech company working in a similar role* Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders across different departments.* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.* Experience managing large cross-functional projects and tight deadlines* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
