Job Description We now need a results-driven Total Rewards Leader to join our Human Capital team. Reporting to the Head of HR Shared Services , the Total Rewards Leader's key areas of focus will be the development and maintenance of a Total Rewards Compensation and Benefits program. The role is responsible for all compensation programs, from executive to broad based; benefits programs including all health, wellness, retirement, and other programs; employee communications of Compensation and Benefits programs.-- This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a Total Rewards Compensation and Benefits Program including designing, building and operating a full suite of Compensation systems, processes and policies to support the growth and goals of Success Academies. The Total Rewards Leader will also have oversight responsibility for the current Benefits team, ensuring that the Benefits offerings remain relevant, cost effective and appropriate as the needs of the organization change. S/he will be a key member of the HR leadership team and will contribute to the delivery of an HR Strategy that supports the ambitious growth objectives of this innovative, high impact, mission driven organization.-- The position will lead a team consisting of a Compensation Analyst, the Benefits Manager and a Benefits team of two.-- Key responsibilities include:-- Lead the creation and periodic update/refresh of an overarching compensation philosophy and guiding principles aligned with the Success Academy strategy and objectives;-- Provide compensation consulting, data, and tools to enable managers to make well- informed pay decision;-- Design, manage, and continuously improve key compensation processes and Total Reward processes vehicles to support the attraction, development, and retention of SA talent, including the annual merit review process, bonus plan, stipends, market data surveys etc.; Design, build, and manage the Compensation and Benefits team to best in class standards; and-- Partner closely with other members of the HR leadership team (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, etc.) and cultivate strong relationships with the Executive leadership team as well as with the school based and Network key leaders.-- Basic Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation management with a track record of success with best practices companies and/or respected HR/Human Capital consulting firms--; Ideally, will have designed and built, or at least led a successful transformation of Compensation function;-- Strong track record of mentoring and developing professionals from within as well as building new teams;-- Bachelor's degree in business or HR is required; a Masters' degree and CEBS certification is preferred; and-- Not for profit or education industry experience is not at all required.-- Professional and Personal Competencies: Ability to think big picture and translate ideas and concepts into an actionable plan and execute it;-- Strong logical reasoning, precise and meticulous problem solver;-- Must demonstrate agility and flexibility in both responding to and adjusting to the needs of the organization;-- Ability to think creatively and come up with out of the box strategies and solutions;-- Strong analytical/quantitative skills and business acumen; and-- Customer centric approach.-- To join our team, please upload a cover letter and resume that outlines your candidacy.
