Responsibilities * Serving as primary interface between the client and the account team to ensure that projects are delivered with the appropriate quality and are on time and within budget* Accumulates in-depth knowledge of client organization, processes, and key players* Look for opportunities to expand Synapse's services* Is able to appropriately set and manage client's expectations* Identification of new opportunities with current client engagement* Responsible for guiding internal team and holding them accountable to ensure deliverables meet client expectations* Oversees and assists on individual projects to ensure specifications and expectations are met* Possesses the ability to provide leadership and direction to project management staff on a daily basis and to provide direct project management support as needed on select accounts/programs* Provides clear direction and communication to the team (internal and external) and leads the team in issue resolution* Assists with the budgeting and proposal generation process for the assigned accounts* Provides revenue forecasts and monitors, reconciles, and reforecasts projects on a monthly basis* Informs client of specification changes and rationale and obtain change orders where appropriate* Performs other duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or health science discipline* 8+ years in account management or program management experience within a healthcare communications agency or the pharmaceutical industry* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Internet, database and spreadsheet experience
