Job Description:
Riis Settlement is seeking an entry level Janitor who will will
be responsible for cleaning facility, removing debris and keeping
areas neat and tidy.Responsibilities* Clean and supply designated
building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning
ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)* Carry out heavy cleansing
tasks and special projects* Notify management of occurring
deficiencies or needs for repairs* Make adjustments and minor
repairs* Stock and maintain supply rooms* Cooperate with the rest
of the staff* Follow all health and safety regulationsStatement Of
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities* Proven working experience as a
janitor* Knowledge/experience in cleaning and maintaining
cleanliness within a large facility.* Ability to handle heavy
equipment and machinery* Integrity and ability to work
independently and within a team* Interpersonal skills, written and
verbal
