Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Senior Specialist, IT
Financial Operations to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan
Way location in Parsippany, New Jersey.
The Sr. Specialist, IT Financial Operations will be responsible for
support of vendor management governance, including purchase order
coordination, vendor monitoring, reporting and renewal management.
The Sr. Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end processing of
the WHG IT Organization's capital and expense orders in the
procurement system, valued at over $50M annually.
Essential Job Functions
Completes end-to-end processing of IT Organization's capital and
expense orders in Procurement System. Scope of work is over 250 POs
valued at over $60M. Includes orders for:
telecom services and equipment
software maintenance renewals
hardware maintenance renewals
professional services orders
Process includes generating requisition/order, tracking to order
issuance, completing goods receipt, reconciling invoices against
goods received and working with finance on any reconciliation
Conduct periodic audits of open and aged purchase orders
M&A vendor integration
Provides periodic executive level reporting for key vendor metrics
including upcoming renewals, vendor performance for strategic
vendors and vendor spend trends. Track and measure key performance
metrics associated with vendor-related activities.
Maintain/govern centralized repository of IT vendors and contracts.
Lead in working with business owners to proactively govern contract
renewals and ensure renewals are executed prior to expiration
Purchase order and vendor governance to ensure timely payment of
invoices; resolves aged PO issues, works with vendors and AP to
resolve invoice questions
Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines from multiple project
teams, as well as responds to the critical deadlines of the
Experience with Oracle Procurement System and financial
Prior Order Entry and Procure to Pay experience
Prior experience reconciling invoices to orders and payments to
Prior financial business related or auditing experience
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work
independently on multiple issues
Must be proficient in Excel
Must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a
Resourceful and excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communication

Proficient with MS Office products (especially Excel. SharePoint
and the rest of MS Office a plus)
Self-starter, desire to learn and contribute
Associate's Degree and relevant work experience
5+ years of experience working in Procurement or Order
Helpful: 5+ years working with IT commodities that has resulted in
a basic understanding of technology and its applications
Experience within Sourcing and/or IT supporting applications and
infrastructure ordering including software hardware and cloud
Strong interpersonal and team skills
Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Interacts directly with the following: IT SLT, IT employees at
all levels throughout the Wyndham organization, vendors
