Job Description:

A direct client of ours is looking to hire a Cloud Product Owner with expertise as an AWS Solutions Architecture and/or Cloud/DevOps SME. They are looking for someone remote initially, with intent to be back onsite fulltime in NYC in the near future. This Product owner will work with Stakeholders as well as Cloud and DevOps leads, creating an IAAS ecosystem.Local candidates are welcome to apply! Location: Remote during COVID with intent to return onsite to NYC office - must be local!Duration: Full time, permanent
Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their needs and represent the stakeholders in platform development prioritization.
• Work with the Cloud and DevOps Leads to develop a platform roadmap for continuous infrastructure and application pipelines.
• Own the requirements, specifications, and release plans for the platform and drive the end-to-end feature delivery cycle
• Evangelize the platform and drive platform adoption, while maintaining metrics to measure the success of feature and capabilities of the platform.
  Required:
  • Expertise in cloud (architecture, infrastructure, administration) - AWS highly preferred
  • Experience with development and deployment lifecycle (CI/CD, configuration management, delivery pipelines)
  • Experience with containers and orchestration - Docker/Kubernetes preferred
  • Solid understanding of the product lifecycle
  • Ability to keep projects on track by maintaining a prioritized Roadmap and aligning with other internal teams
  • Strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's degree Preferred:
    • Financial industry experience a plus
    • Data Architecture
    • Agile methodologies
