Our online--Homebuyer Education course --has helped over 1 million satisfied customers, and our new--Keep--Home TM--platform provides personalized resources and tools for various points in the homeownership journey. We do all this with--trusted and unbiased resources, the latest technology, dedication to our customers, and innovative relationships with lenders, brokers, and a network of nonprofit partners.-- The--Head of Business Development--is a critical new hire for Framework. In this role you'll drive--continued--adoption of our successful homebuyer education course and explore--new--revenue opportunities for Keep. You will--identify areas of strategic growth and partnership opportunities, create--a pipeline,--close--deals, and--build--individual and team-based revenue targets all while keeping our mission at the forefront of everything you do. You have experience in both strategy and sales roles and an exceptional ability to build relationships, identify and articulate business opportunities, and influence cross-functionally--as you--work--closely with--the--product, marketing, and operations--teams to identify and fulfill new opportunities.-- This role reports to the--Chief Growth Officer--and--is ideally located in--a major metropolitan area such as New York, NY,--Boston, MA,--or Chicago, IL.Framework is a remote-friendly company, and candidates in other major US cities are--encouraged--to apply. What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Create and nurture a $1-5M pipeline of prospective partners and opportunities in both existing and new verticals
  • Scope, negotiate, and finalize new business agreements while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure product, mission, and business model fit
  • Understand market opportunities and analyze potential leads through strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams through all aspects of partner and business case development, product requirements, negotiation, and contracts
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, decision-makers, and influencers, even when not actively pursuing a partnership
  • Gather and share key client insights with the delivery organization to influence feature development
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to define value propositions and campaign messages based on client insights
  • Maintain industry expertise and stay abreast of industry trends and dynamics and share insights with the team, influencing our product roadmap and business model evolution What You'll Bring
    • Proven track record in sales and business development, including experience identifying, building, and negotiating business solutions that require product development or integration
    • Ability to build strong relationships internally and with partners
    • Ability--to influence by asking probing questions, understanding concerns, and overcoming objections
    • Experience leading teams, building out a business development org, and creating a sales compensation structure for individuals and teams
    • A passion for developing new business, and proof of experience breaking ground into new customer bases
    • Creativity to imagine what's possible, not only what is today
    • Critical thinking and foresight to identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies
    • Humility and a team-player orientation Additional Qualifications
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations
      • Fluency with using quantitative data, analyses and reports to support effective problem-solving and decision-making
      • Ability to travel to meetings and events up to--25% of the time (up to one week per month)--once healthy and safe to do so
