Job Description:

As Global Product and Business Development (Platinum Clients) Lead, you will focus on the coverage of the team's very top global clients for our Energy Technology products. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with global clients, with a particular focus on identifying and driving forward the most compelling opportunities. This may include 24/7 renewables, data center development, resiliency infrastructure, VC investments in relevant technology, fleet electrification, etc. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate success in product development, business development and strategic partnerships, as well as a natural ability to rapidly network within a global group (such as Macquarie), and identify the appropriate resources needed to fulfil a specific opportunity. You will understand the key drivers and stakeholders within a global Platinum client base, and the decision-making process they follow on energy and sustainability objectives. You will also understand their ESG targets and strategy and take a leadership role in identifying practical steps to achieve their goals. You will quickly develop a reasonable understanding of the investment and business cases that support Macquarie Capital's opportunity set. If you have at least 8+ years' experience in a similar position, demonstrate impeccable judgment, strong communication skills, as well as a self-sufficient, organized, results oriented mindset, we would like to hear from you.
