Overview

Connection has a fantastic opportunity with one of our outstanding clients based in Hazlet, NJ. They are looking for a solid Helpdesk Technician. This is a Perm Role with our end client.

SHIFT: M-F; 8:00am-5:00pm

Who you are:

  • At least 2 years of experience in enterprise-type IT support role.
  • Experienced with remote and desk-side support.
  • Looking for a long-term employment solution -- work and grow in one place!
  • Some occasional travel to NYC to other office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a combination of phone and deskside support to end-users.
  • Communicate technical issues/solutions to non-technical end-users.
  • Provide basic administration to the Active Directory environment.
  • Provide software/application support to systems in the office as applicable.

Requirements

  • Certifications and/or degrees a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience doing helpdesk or deskside supporting a corporate environment.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory -- adding/removing users and permissions at minimum.
  • Some interest/experience providing network support.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Occasional visits to NY office.
