Position: Senior Associate

Location: This position is fully remote and applicants may work remotely from anywhere in the United States

Duties: Evaluate, analyze, model, execute and perform qualitative and quantitative due diligence on various types of secondary transactions, including the purchase of fund partnership interests, fund or asset level financing, direct asset purchases, and fund restructurings. Day to day responsibilities include preparing investment committee memos, participating in due diligence meetings, building financials models, conducing market/company research, supporting development and execution of transaction documents, monitoring/reporting on existing investments, managing CRM databases, and conducing various ad-hoc analysis.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in all phases of the investment process, including sourcing, diligence, execution, documentation, and portfolio monitoring. Or alternatively, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in all phases of the investment process, including sourcing, diligence, execution, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.

Special Skills:

One year of experience must include: preparing investment committee memos; participating in due diligence meetings with fund managers, portfolio company management teams, consultants, legal advisors, etc.; building financial models - fund & portfolio valuations, business/asset valuation, LBO modeling, M&A modeling, financial statement modeling, DCF modeling, etc.; conducting market/company research utilizing Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and Preqin; reviewing partnership agreements, legal documents, and other documents to assist in legal due diligence for potential investments; supporting development, assessment and negotiation of transaction structures, coordination of subsequent documentation, and closing process; assisting in preparation of term sheets, NDAs, purchase agreements, and other legal and transaction documentation; monitoring and reporting on existing investment/portfolio, and drafting periodic investor communications; managing CRM databases using eFront, DealCloud, Salesforce, etc.; and, assisting with tracking and prioritization of secondary investment opportunities.
