Vox Media is seeking a full-time Brand Strategy Manager to help support marketing and revenue objectives for Vox Media's fast-growing audio business. This individual will serve as a direct point of contact for cross-functional teams and report to the Senior Brand Strategy Manager.

As the Vox Media Podcast Network continues to grow both in terms of audience scale and business, this role requires a solutions oriented individual who is able to flawlessly manage multiple work streams, all while balancing insights, and creativity to bring audio-first solutions to market. We're looking for someone who is passionate about our brands, eager to learn, and is excited about the future of media.

What you'll do:

  • Support Brand Strategy team in the development of B2B storytelling to raise our industry profile and establish Vox Media as the leading independent modern media company
  • Work closely with Senior Brand Strategy Manager to grow the Vox Media Podcast Network line of business - develop and implement go-to-market strategies across audio
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, editorial, insights & innovation, and other internal teams to design and write sales materials
  • build best-in-class sales materials (decks, case studies)
  • strategically drive in-market awareness (newsletters, linkedin)
  • create demand for new and priority sponsorships (one-sheets)
  • Maintain an editorial podcast calendar, partnering with members of the sales team and creative strategists to identify solutions for RFP submissions
  • Ideate original audio sponsorships to help meet market demands, while building on editorial strategies and objectives
  • Provide additional support on special projects (IAB Podcast Upfronts, virtual events, roadshows)

What you'll bring:

  • 3-4 years of experience in brand, advertising or marketing function
  • Digital publishing, brand or agency experience a plus
  • A knack for storytelling and a creative eye, especially in decks
  • Attention to detail in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with media planning, sponsorships, and brand positioning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across the Google Workspace
  • Excited for the future of media
