The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

Help support customer retention and renewals with customers who are managed for new and expansion sales by an Area VP in New England. We are looking for those dedicated to excellence in job performance, who enjoy communicating and working with others, who believe in our culture of investing to realize the full potential of our talented team, and those who will thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing, technology and product-led company. This person will be familiar with the life sciences space, and have some experience successfully selling products, data and/or services within the healthcare sector.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have

  • Expand Komodo's footprint within top tier pharma and biotech companies by assisting the AVPs of Account Strategy in pre-sales preparations and business development strategy by preparing research on companies, therapeutic areas, and emerging pipelines, as well as preparing outreach messaging to align with anticipated customer needs
  • Partner with established Area VP to co-manage pharmaceutical accounts in the Northeast by cultivating long-lasting client relationships and building trust through a consultative and strategic selling and account support approach

  • Maintain established territory sales to meet/exceed Komodo's commercial targets and provide ongoing updates to ensure renewals are on track; will bear a quota for renewals

  • Assist Area VP with updating SalesForce and owning the Jira ticketing process
  • Provide input to help refine the account strategy and Customer Success partnership construct to ensure

What You Bring to Komodo:

  • 2-4 years working for or selling to Life Sciences companies OR 2-4 years in client-facing roles of increasing responsibility, serving Life Sciences companies with innovative technology or commercial solutions OR 2-4 years in top consulting or boutique life sciences consulting firms or agencies
  • Consistent, high attainment or out-performance of sales goals
  • Exceptional storytelling, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to grow into a role owning multiple client relationships
  • Experience engaging and managing key stakeholders at the Life Sciences companies in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and/or IT/IS
  • Ability to develop long-term, trusted business relationships with Life Sciences customers in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and/or IT/IS
  • Aptitude and interest in growing into a role managing strategic accounts with penetration into multiple customer groups
  • Poise to successfully manage multiple client interactions and projects with high quality and grace under pressure
  • General understanding of the life sciences industry and how therapies are brought to market
  • Expertise in a variety of therapeutic areas; Oncology experience is a plus
  • Strategic, trusted consultant approach that allows you to advise customers on solutions and strategies that meet the needs of their marketed and pipeline therapies
  • Agility to work across internal teams to deliver to customer contractual requirements, especially with Product and Engineering
  • "Roll up your sleeves," "Dive into the details," and "Figure it out" work ethic that allows you to wear many hats and evolve with the needs of the business
  • Sincere interest in working at a fast-paced, engineering and product-led startup, and the ability to scale with the organization as it grows and its needs change over time
  • A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data and analytics, and technology
  • Flexible mindset to embrace use of new software applications and cloud-based communication tools
  • Proficiency using MS Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum, Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have:

  • Experience selling Enterprise IT/software, data, to Life Sciences IT stakeholders is a nice-to-have, but not required
  • Proven track-record of exceeding individual and company goals or sales quotas at a company selling technology and/or services to Enterprise Life Sciences and/or Intermediaries
  • Experience leveraging customer-relationship management tool to support ongoing pipeline management.
