Job Title: Associate Director, Salesforce Developer

Department: Information Technology

FLSA Code: Exempt

Job Reports To: Vice President, Head of CRM & Reporting

Job Summary:

Cohen and Steers is currently seeking a highly motivated Salesforce Developer in our New York IT department. The individual will be part of a dynamic development team, which supports a global user base. The individual will work closely with our Development Team in solving complex problems and developing solutions to integrate with Salesforce and design customized solutions within the platform.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Meet with project managers to determine CRM needs
  • Design and implement customized solutions within our CRM Warehouse and CRM Ecosystem (Salesforce, Pardot, SS&C DST)
  • Responsible for operational stability of the system and related processes
  • Development of service and web-based solutions to facilitate in CRM related processes

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in the Information Technology field is required
  • Proven experience with Salesforce, its APIs, and various adapters to import data and facilitate reporting on the application
  • Proven experience with Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Component Framework
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Query and Search Language
  • Salesforce Certification with minimum Platform Developer I
  • Substantial experience in developing application solutions through all phases of the application lifecycle from initial requirements gathering to ongoing enhancements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication, in order to communicate with all levels of end users and help develop sustainable business solutions that address user requirements
  • Ability to work with users and managers to prioritize between tasks
  • Proven vendor management skills
  • Recent experience in an Asset Management Firm or Hedge Fund

Beneficial Skills

  • Experience with C# and Microsoft SQL Server, or similar technologies
  • Experience with GIT, DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Experience of using job scheduling software (JAMS, ActiveBatch, AutoSys or equivalent)
