Responsible for developing and executing employee communications
strategies and programs. Partners in the integration of
communication strategies across the company. Interacts with Senior
Executives. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and
complex functions. Contributes to the development of the
organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and
develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy.
Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.
Develops and oversees Employee Communications initiatives
designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals and

tools with the Manager of Communications, providing employees with
messaging and industry/competitive context for all key business
Establishes company best practices and tools for communications
and persistently researches new industry tools and practices.
Ideally has knowledge of video and TV advertising, and/or ad

Participates in leadership calls and offers communications
advice to executives.
Listens for key messages and proactively anticipates
Builds comprehensive communications plan with creative solutions
to impact employee engagement.
Connects the dots to bring together all communication channels

complex messages into simple narratives.
Writes, edits and directs company-wide communications.
Practices a collaborative-style and offers cross-team
Works directly with individual systems and functional areas to
build awareness and use of corporate communications vehicles.
Develops, mentors and oversees staff. Participates in training
and performance reviews.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in
matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to
