We are seeking an experienced strategist to join and help build from the ground-up a newly formed Strategy Group within our award-winning B2B team.

The Strategy Group is dedicated to the cultivation and engagement of our key accounts, with the goal of creating a world-class, differentiated partner experience. The team intentionally sits outside of the day-to-day RFP cycle, with the ability to work laterally across The Atlantic's B2B divisions, inclusive of a media company, creative studio, and live events group.

This Strategy Group will operate as a braintrust that is responsible for ideating, developing, and executing strategies to add more value to our top client relationships.

This role reports directly to the Executive Director of Marketing.

What you'll do:

  • Set engagement and cultivation strategy to bring more value to a group of key accounts.

  • Own and lead the creation, development, and production of effective client engagement activities and activities (i.e. thought leadership, events, workshops, etc).

  • Be a creative and strategic thought partner to our partnerships, account management, and marketing teams to identify and champion opportunities to develop new services and methods for supporting and bringing more value to our client relationships.

  • Serve as a trusted coach by challenging senior teams and influencing strategy and outcomes.

  • Effectively lead and manage a Growth Strategy Coordinator, to ensure that activities are centrally coordinated, and the logistics and timeline are effectively managed.

  • Debrief teams after activities and assure proper follow up with clients.

Who you are:

  • An extraordinary communicator, acutely-engaged listener, and a captivating presenter with a natural ability to craft persuasive arguments both verbally and in writing

  • A creative thought-leader biased towards action. Big-thinking is not enough for you. You are hands on and take action to see your ideas move forward

  • Proven record in relationship management, account management, marketing and sales within a professional services organization

  • Experience coaching and challenging senior teams with demonstrable track-record of influencing sales outcomes

  • Effective organizational and project management skills

  • A challenger. You bring fresh thinking and a strong POV. You will push us to stretch into new territory, upend the status quo, and do the unexpected!

  • A voracious consumer of culture, adept at identifying emerging trends in our industry and in culture, and can extrapolate key takeaways and actions for growth

  • A strong analyst and strategist. You understand how and when to use relevant research, insights and/or data to inform and bolster your strategy and creative ideas

  • A strong people manager.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and stay focused in a dynamic, ever-changing environment

  • Imperfect. We don't expect anyone to walk into this job and know everything on their first day, we expect you to be the kind of person who's curious enough to learn what they don't know. We're looking for someone who can grow into this role and out of it

  • 8-10+ years of experience in media, marketing, consulting, agency work, or relevant work experience required.
