As the VP of Brand at Slice:

Responsibilities

  • Lead Slice's overall brand strategy, overseeing it's execution through content, PR, events, social, and cross marketing channels (e.g., digital, TV, direct mail)
  • Role is equal parts strategic, creative, and execution-oriented. You will lead the strategy, ideation, and execution of our marketing campaigns that target both restaurants and consumers.
  • Intimately understand our audiences (both our consumers and shop partners) including their needs, hopes, and aspirations and how we can be their partner of choice

Strategy

  • Create programs that drive brand awareness, engagement, and trust with the end goal of supporting Slice's growth and revenue goals
  • Partners with the Head of Creative & Head of Product UX to evolve the overall Slice brand including visual design, voice, and value proposition to more effectively differentiate us in a crowded market
  • Lead research (quantitative, qualitative, customer co-creation panels), competitive analysis, brand development (segmentation, positioning), and creation of customer-experience blueprint
  • Set and manage the overall brand and marketing campaign calendar
  • Lead the evolution of our event and "tentpole" strategy and implementation
  • Lead marketing for media, event, campaign, and new product launches (inclusive of positioning, messaging, value propositions)

Team

  • Manage a team of smart, passionate marketers that includes content, partnerships, events, PR, and social media
  • Partners closely with the Head of Creative and team to execute vision
  • Refine and drive processes, tools, goal-setting, and reporting to ensure deadlines are hit and campaign goals achieved (with an eye on how they drive growth)

Execution

  • Marshall the teams (direct reports & other functional teams) executing our campaigns for new initiatives, on-going campaigns, events and strategic marketing partnerships including both internal teams and external partners
  • Own the brand marketing budget

What we're looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience starting and growing a beloved B2B2C brand (ideally a brand who started as the little guy and rose to the top)
  • Deep familiarity with large brand marketing campaigns across TV, direct mail, social, radio (with a particular focus on TV)
  • Proven success leading a large teams of marketers towards high performing achievements
