Thus, it is critical to strengthen and build our machine learning experience and real tech advantage.

For this, we are looking to hire our state-of-the-art Vertical Business Leader (VBL)

What will you do?

The VBL oversees all Vertical business-related activities in the company from conceptualization to launch, strategy to execution, and post-launch performance. The Vertical Business Leader is a strategic leader, visionary, and an advocate for his VerbIT's vertical.

The VBL will be part of the Business group leadership and will report to the COO.

As a strategic leader, the Vertical Business Leader is in charge of initiatives across the entire Vertical lifecycle including Marketing, Inside Sales, Strategic Sales, Partnership, Onboarding, and Customer Success, from concept to execution while focusing on Vertical growth and efficiency.

The VBL is responsible for:

  • Responsible for the company vertical business End to End, from the pipeline, new booking, upsell and renewal and oversee the overall revenue to assume vertical growth
  • Partner with business functional groups and company leadership to create growth strategies, demonstrating an understanding of the business and stakeholder needs
  • Interact with the Technology team to assure all vertical business needs are met
  • Establish a regular cadence or reviewing business and marketing performance quarterly, making appropriate adjustments as warranted
  • As needed, contribute to the identification of strategic partnerships to foster aims
  • Play a key role in supporting GM efficiency, vertical offering, and delivery, making sure customer requirements are met
  • Research vertical market needs and identifies growth and expansion potential
  • Review business, budget, business efficiency & results with the team

Requirements

  • Education: business- or tech-related
  • Former COO/Business Unit manager in growing companies or startup entrepreneur
  • 5+ years of experience in growing new verticals and business
  • Champion in Leadership, Communication & influence
  • Strategic and long-term business vision
  • Strong customer and user focus
  • Business acumen with a structured, focused, and data-oriented approach
