PG One is the client-agency platform that scales the best resources and capabilities from across Publicis Groupe to most effectively serve the needs of Procter & Gamble (P&G) globally, leading growth across 9 categories and 27 brands. As the Global Digital Strategy Director, you'll be joining the PG One Digital Strategy Cross-Functional Team to help lead the world's top marketers at one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. This position will challenge your ability to think analytically, manage complexity, and apply your ability to translate business strategy into strong digital plans and experiences - establishing channel strategy and journeys, designing effective creative content and improving the quality and performance our consumers' digital experiences.

Job Description:

The role of the Global Digital Strategy Director is to serve as the team's client-facing digital thought leader and subject matter expert across our always-on platforms (e.g. search, site, app, ecommerce, eCRM, and consumer data strategy) and digital advertising channels (e.g. OLV, display, social, paid search, digital radio, etc.). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the digital strategic planning and tactical implementation oversight working alongside our always-on digital team as well as various advertising initiative teams. You will lead the development of channel engagement plans addressing consumer needs and behaviors to address brands business strategies. You will inspire great digital creative content through insightful briefings and creative inspiration. You will also help continue to craft and hone digital product experiences whether that's data capture or accelerating DTC conversion. In addition, the Global Digital Strategy Director will be responsible for growing JBP relationships and overseeing the continued digital education of the PG One team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the intersection of our clients' business objectives and the consumers' desires to craft digital experiences that address both
  • Oversee the continued development and optimization of our eCRM programs and DTC operations fueled by the acquisition, enrichment and activation of our consumer data strategy
  • Develop and apply different qualitative and quantitative research techniques to garner and unearth insights that spark the creative process
  • Collaborate with planners to develop holistic channel plans based on consumer behavior that meet brand business objectives.
  • Own the digital creative briefing process including leading inspiration workshops and creative check-ins
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of various digital platforms and their ad formats - including but not limited to Amazon, Google, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch, etc.
  • Drive performance of digital creative through ongoing optimization of strategic approaches and creative executions
  • Guide the design of digital experiences across the path to purchase from paid and earned media to owned DTC platforms and eRetailer partners
  • Assist team in planning activities such as brainstorming, client onboarding, and internal meetings
  • Partner with Marketing Intelligence Analysts to develop and drive strong measurement plans and test & learn opportunities
  • Compile research to support the development of marketing recommendations
  • Collect information around vendors and share knowledge with others

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 8 + years of relevant experience as a marketing strategist, account manager, or consultant working within a digital marketing agency or consulting environment
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related business major
  • Quantitative and qualitative thinker with experience in developing holistic consumer journeys, channel planning, and creative briefs
  • Enjoys marketing and digital marketing theories and principles and wants to share best practices broadly amongst the team
  • Finds satisfaction in problem solving and meeting commitments with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Stellar interpersonal skills; the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the following platforms:

o Analytics: Google Analytics

o Ad Managers: Google, Facebook, Snapchat, Amazon

o Search: Google Keyword Planner, MOZ, SEM Rush

o Social Listening: Sprinklr, Netbase

o Planning: ComScore, MRI, PointLogic
