Position Summary

The Manager position on the Audience Engine team, specific to Decision Sciences (DS), is tasked with leading brand level application of traditional and innovative DS functions and guiding senior associates and associates to help support and carry out essential functions.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy, Innovation, & Thought Leadership:

  • Build clear, actionable presentation of results & recommendations to further client marketing goals.
  • Perform a broad range of analyses utilizing media/consumer/marketing data from company and client databases to drive media optimization and improvement in marketing techniques and business strategies.

Oversight and stewardship in identifying brand and campaign level opportunities for Innovation projects and Learning Agenda items

  • Activation & Operations:
  • Oversight and stewardship ensuring appropriate application/execution & campaign set-up is implemented to deliver on Innovation projects and Learning Agenda items
  • Lead day-to-day DMP operations such as syndicating audiences, creating suppression segments, working with J&J to onboard 1P and 2P audiences and leveraging J&J tools to manage campaign reach and frequency and mitigate waste

Cross-Team Work:

  • DS Team Lead in supporting and collaborating with other internal teams (i.e., Planning Team) to carry out precision strategy process workflows including, but not limited to:
  • High value audience (HVA) segmentation (i.e., providing feedback on how to carry out processes related to audience definitions, sizing and syndication; identifying inputs available for 1P audience builds; etc.)
  • Programmatic inventory source selections and set-up
  • Application/execution of Learning Agenda items

Talent Management:

  • Provide oversight of associate/senior associate in managing and checking data, interacting with clients and partners, and thinking critically about process and execution improvements
  • Ensure associate/senior associates are leveraging proper HVA naming conventions for approved audiences, and that audiences are syndicated to platforms correctly

Desired Skills & Experience

Education/Certifications: College degree preferred

Work Experience: 3+ years working in a media related role, particularly within Programmatic, with experience working with data providers to build out high value audiences & Programmatic Strategy

Skills: Candidate should have strong prioritization, project and time management skills - as well as ability to communicate complex ideas to internal and external teams. Familiar with DMP platforms required, experience with Neustar specifically a plus. Qualified candidate should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (using VLOOKUP, INDEX formulas), understanding and experience with Tableau preferred but not required.

Supervisory Responsibility: Managing associate/senior associate

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Role will be working from home for the time being until offices in New York City re-open
